To begin an interactive rebasing session, pass the i option to the git rebase command: git checkout feature git rebase - i main. We'll be adding extra commit wrangling functionality, including reordering commits, moving commits between branches, and amending arbitrary commits. Sublime Merge is a fast and intuitive git client built on the same performant platform as Sublime Text. Typically, this is used to clean up a messy history before merging a feature branch into main. Sublime Merge currently supports editing commit messages and squashing commits (available from the commit context menu).

We've had a lot of requests for UI support here, so it'll be making it in too. Git Flow is a branching strategy with an accompanying set of command line tools. If it is not the latest commit message, then you can do an interactive rebase up to that commit: git rebase -i
